Capt. Jay Cohen operates
the 57 foot "Spellbound" charter fishing boat, & Captain Dennis Forgione operates the
43' "Free Spool Too" both offering Deep Sea Charter fishing, Wreck fishing, reef fishing, Gulf Stream Fishing, Sport Fishing,
and Big Game Fishing, in full comfort. We specialize in live bait fishing, trolling, & bottom fishing. The "Spellbound" is
twin diesel powered with Generator A/C power available at sea. The
"Spellbound" is fully air conditioned at sea.
The perfect platform for fishing for sailfish, shark, Dolphin
(Mahi), kingfish, snapper, grouper, swordfish, Marlin, and much more. It takes
us less than a 10 minutes to reach the gulf stream, and the outside reef, & start fishing. Spellbound can accommodate large & small groups of guests, with Split party charter fishing boat tours easily arranged. fishing our
area for more than 30 years, and have
learned our area like it was our own back yard. Over the
years we have refined our craft, & have become really great
fishermen. While continuing to have tremendous catches, our
most important, & primary goal is for you, our customers to
have a fun time, & a great experience.
We welcome
novices &
experienced anglers alike,
kids, and absolutely any
one who wants to just have a fun & adventuress time.
You do not need to have any experience
to have a successful & fun fishing experience with us!
We will teach, and show you everything, & encourage
you to be as involved as you like. We are happy to
fish for the largest of monster fish, or fish for smaller
reef fish. We just want to see every one who comes on
our

Now that I have had a great catch what do we do with the fish?
If you are looking a fresh fish diner our crew will gladly clean your catch and bag it up on ice ready for you to cook... we may even share one of our great recipes with you!
Most trophy fish like Sailfish & Sharks can be released to fight again, while one of our very talented taxidermist can create an identical "release mounted trophy". Although some trophy fish may be brought in at our customers request, and captains approval. |

Why fish with us ? |
o and Sailfish. The Shark population has started their migration to the North and we are CATCHING A FEW BIG HAMMER HEAD SHARKS, Bull Sharks & others. The SUMMER TIME BITE IS ON! The wrecks are alive with big Golden Amberjack, Almaco's, a few Black Grouper, small snapper & the biggest Greater Barracuda of the season! The Golden Tilefish fishing has been great with fish up to 15lbs. Vertical jigging on the wrecks has also produced at lot of great action with light spinning rods and butterfly jigs, also come and learn our new "whip jig" technique.
The temperature has been in the high 80's in the morning and up to 93 degrees by noon time. The dark blue waters of the gulf stream are in close to the beaches come on down to Miami Beach, enjoy our great ocean breeze... and lets do some DEEP SEA FISHING.
